Overview
The Eldernrian Knight, Eldernrian Wizard, and Eldernrian Archor are corrupted beings found around Great Falls, remnants of a once-human civilization twisted by the ruins' lingering taint. Long ago they were ordinary people — soldiers, mages, and archers — but the corruption seeping from the ruins reshaped their forms into something reptilian, leaving them with the lizard-like features they bear today. Adventurers passing through Great Falls will encounter all three types guarding the approach to the ruins, making the region hazardous for lower-level hunters.

Location & How to Get There
Speak to the Traveler, go to Great Falls. Multiple doors will be found in this location

The Infected Wolf and Infected Toad are corrupted beasts found around Great Falls, haunting the town outskirts and the dense jungle that borders the nearby ruins. Once ordinary wildlife, the corruption seeping from the ruins has twisted them into diseased, aggressive creatures — the wolves prowling the treeline in packs, the bloated toads clustering in the humid wetlands below.

Mcas8714: Mcas8714 moved page Guilds to Category:Guilds

Guilds
Guilds let players band together under a shared name and crest, coordinate in-game, and compete on the server. On Adventures of Raptor, all guild management is done through the website &mdash; not through in-game commands. Below is everything you need to create, join, and run a guild.

Creating a Guild
Guilds are created and managed entirely on the website.

# Log in to your account at adventuresofraptor.com.
# Go to the Guilds page from the site menu.
# Click Create Guild.
# Choose the character that will be the guild's Leader (this character must be online-eligible and not already in a guild).
# Enter a guild name and confirm.

Once created, your leader character is automatically assigned the Leader rank, and the three default ranks are set up for you.

Requirements to create a guild:
* You must own the character you assign as Leader.
* The character cannot already belong to another guild.
* A small level requirement may apply depending on current server settings.

Guild Ranks
Every guild starts with three default ranks:

Rank !! Level !! Permissions
Leader || 3 || Full control &mdash; invite, kick, change ranks, manage guild, edit crest, disband
Vice-Leader || 2 || Invite and kick members, limited management
Member || 1 || Standard membership, no management rights

The Leader can promote or demote members between ranks from the Manage Guild panel on the website.

Managing Your Guild
From the Guilds page (while logged in as Leader or Vice-Leader), you can:

* Invite players &mdash; send a guild invitation to another character.
* Kick members &mdash; remove a member from the guild.
* Change Rank &mdash; promote or demote members.
* Upload a Crest &mdash; set a custom guild logo/crest image.
* Disband &mdash; permanently delete the guild (Leader only).

The Manage Guild button appears on your guild page only when you are logged in as the Leader or Vice-Leader.

Joining a Guild
# The guild Leader or Vice-Leader sends you an invitation from the website.
# Log in to the website and open the Guilds page.
# Accept the pending invitation for your character.

Once accepted, your membership is recorded. You must log out and back in in-game for the game server to recognize your new guild membership.

Guild Crests
Guild Leaders can upload a custom crest image on the website:

* Recommended size: 128&times;128 pixels (displays at 64&times;64 on the site).
* Maximum file size: 500 KB.
* PNG format recommended for transparency.

In-Game Notes
* Guild management commands do not work in-game &mdash; use the website for all guild actions.
* After any membership or rank change on the website, relog your character so the game server updates.
* Your guild name and rank appear when other players use Look on you and in guild-related channels.

King of the Hill
Guilds can compete to control Hill and earn a +30% experience bonus for the whole guild for 2 hours. Travel there via the Traveler NPC ("King of Hills"), fight to the throne, and hold it for 20 minutes to capture it. See the full King of the Hill guide for details.

King of the Hill
King of the Hill is a guild-versus-guild control event held at Hill. A guild that captures and holds the throne earns a server-wide +30% experience bonus for their entire guild, lasting 2 hours.

Getting There
Travel to the hill by talking to the Traveler NPC and choosing the King of Hills destination.

# Speak to the Traveler and say <code>travel</code>.
# Say <code>King of Hills</code>.
# Say <code>yes</code> to confirm. The trip costs 5,000 gold.

Entry Requirements
* You must be level 4,000 or under to enter the hill. It is a contested zone for lower and mid-level characters.
* Special items cannot be worn &mdash; certain equipment is blocked at the entrance. Remove flagged gear before entering or you'll be denied.
* You must be in a guild to capture the hill. Guildless players can fight there but cannot claim the throne.

Upon entering, players are scattered to one of several random spawn points around the hill, so no one starts with a guaranteed advantage.

How to Capture the Hill
# Fight your way to the throne at the top of the hill.
# Stand on the throne tile. Your guild is now registered as the one holding it, and a counter begins.
# Hold the throne for 20 minutes of accumulated time. The count only builds while a member of the same guild is standing on it.
# If you step off the throne, or a rival guild member takes it, the count resets. Only one guild can hold it at a time.
# Once your guild reaches the required hold time, the hill is captured &mdash; a server-wide broadcast announces your guild as the new King of the Hill.

The Reward
* The capturing guild receives +30% experience for 2 hours, applied to every member of the guild, anywhere they hunt.
* When the bonus expires, a broadcast announces that the hill is open again.

Cooldown
* After a capture, the hill enters a 2-hour cooldown (matching the bonus duration). During this time it cannot be recaptured.
* Once the cooldown ends, the hill reopens and any guild can contest it again.

Checking Hill Status
Use the <code>!checkhill</code> command anywhere to open a status window showing:

* Whether the hill is currently Open or Closed.
* The guild that last captured it.
* How many minutes remain until it reopens (if closed).

Strategy Tips
* Bring your guild &mdash; a single player can't hold the throne against a coordinated group.
* Watch the <code>!checkhill</code> timer so your guild is ready the moment the hill reopens.
* Because the count resets when you're pushed off, controlling the area around the throne matters as much as standing on it.

* Upload a Crest &mdash; set a custom guild logo/crest image.

Homes
On Adventures of Raptor there are two ways to get a home: buy a standard house in-game with gold, or purchase a custom house through the website for extra perks and features. This page covers both.

Buying a House with Gold (In-Game)
Standard houses are bought directly in the game world with gold. Houses are located in the server's towns &mdash; Raptor City, Orion, Freeport, Sandurna, and Old Zulu.

How to buy:
# Travel to a town with available houses (Raptor City has the most).
# Find a house with a "For Sale" sign showing its price and size.
# Stand at the house's front door.
# Say <code>alana res</code> to purchase it. The house price in gold is deducted from your bank/inventory.

You must have enough gold and cannot already own another house (one house per character).

In-Game House Commands
Custom Houses (Website)
For players who want more than a standard house, custom houses can be purchased through the website at adventuresofraptor.com under the Shop. A custom house is placed and configured for you by staff, and can be loaded with private spawns and utility portals.

Every custom house includes a free fishing spawn.

Tiers
Large || $20 || The biggest private home

You choose the city for your custom house: Raptor City, Orion, Freeport, Sandurna, or Old Zulu.

Portal Perks
Custom houses can be equipped with private portals, each leading to a feature inside your home. Portals are sold in bundles, and buying the same bundle more than once stacks it (for example, five 1-portal bundles = 5 portals). Larger bundles save money and unlock free lava fishing.

Available portal features:

Feature !! What it does
Monster Spawn || A private hunting spawn. Choose the creature per spawn &mdash; options include Hydras, Infected Bear, Cadejo, Infected Wolf, Infected Mutant, Barbarian, Pro Banshee, and Demon Lord.
Fishing Spawn Upgrade || Upgrade your free fishing spot to a mega spawn for faster fishing.
Lava Fishing || A lava fishing spot &mdash; unlocked free with the 5-portal bundle.
Trainers || Private training dummies to skill up without leaving home.
Market Portal || Quick access to a hub stocked with all the essential NPCs.

When you buy portals, you allocate each portal slot across the feature types you want, and pick the specific monster for each Monster Spawn slot.

Delivery
Custom houses and portal setups are placed manually by staff. Please allow 3&ndash;5 business days for your custom house order to be delivered and configured in-game.

Notes
* One house per character applies to standard houses.
* Custom-house features (spawns, portals, trainers) are exclusive to your home &mdash; a major perk over standard houses, which are empty until you furnish them.
* If you already own a house and just want the extra features, use the Customize Existing House ($5) tier rather than buying a whole new custom house.

Rules
Raptor is a competitive and integrity-driven server. Access is a privilege, not a right. By creating an account and playing, you agree to follow these rules. Sanctions may be applied without prior warning and escalate based on severity, frequency, recency, account history, linked accounts, and behaviour during appeals. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, do not do it.

Overview
Raptor prioritises fair competition, server integrity, and community safety. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, do not do it. Repeat offences escalate and may result in permanent removal. In severe cases, accounts may be deleted.

1. Automation & Unfair Advantage
You may use scripts, bots, automation, or third-party tools, but only within these limits.

Allowed:
* Cavebotting and automated hunting are permitted; however, only 1 character may be cavebotting or actively hunting at any given time. You may additionally have up to 2 characters fishing while your main character is hunting, or a maximum of 2 active characters outside Protection Zones (PZ) while 1 character is cavebotting.
* Auto-targeting, target locking, or auto-casting.
* Automated movement / scripted pathing.
* AFK farming using automation.
* Key jamming or holding keys down for automated gameplay.
* Allowing other players to control your character via scripts.
* Using AOE weapons while AFK outside designated fishing areas, only when you obey the rule of 1 character hunting and the other fishing.

Not allowed:
* Trapping players while not engaging in PvP so they cannot move.
* Using bots to interact with world items (e.g. digging/cutting) while AFK.

Staff checks: Failure to respond to a staff check within 60 seconds may result in sanctions. We will only check if you do not break any rules.

Potential outcomes: Jail or warning for minor breaches; 7-day ban; 30-day ban for serious automation / cavebotting; cavebotting may automatically include experience deduction from the first ban (starting at approximately -5% of player level, increasing for further offences); increased ban duration and level/experience loss for repeat offences; trapping players may result in jail, with persistent behaviour leading to a 1-day ban or stronger action; account deletion for persistent or severe abuse.

2. Multi-Client & IP Restrictions
To maintain fairness, character limits apply outside Protection Zones (PZ).

Allowed:
* Up to 2 active characters outside PZ and 1 designated fishing character per person.
* Additional characters must remain in PZ and may not provide advantage to any character, including your own or other players.

Not allowed:
* Using extra characters to heal, block entry, hold positions, scout, or otherwise support characters outside PZ.
* Using VPN/VPS/Cloud services to gain advantage or evade enforcement unless approved.
* Ban evasion via alternate accounts.

Shared IP fishing: Allowed only under approved conditions. Staff may temporarily temple characters pending checks.

Potential outcomes: Jail (first offence); 7-day ban (repeat); IP ban (serious abuse); escalation for coordinated farming networks.

3. Hacking, Exploits & Theft
You may not hack, steal accounts, scam players, abuse exploits, duplicate items, or manipulate the economy.

Potential outcomes: 3-day ban (minor exploit abuse); 30-day ban (scamming, if items are returned); account deletion (hacking, duping, severe or repeated abuse).

4. Real-World Trading & Advertising
Real-world trading (RWT) and advertising are restricted.

Not allowed:
* Attempting to arrange real-money trades (attempts may be punished as completed trades).
* Advertising or recruiting for other servers.
Potential outcomes: 7-14 day IP ban; asset removal; account deletion; escalation for organised activity.

5. Account Integrity
Account integrity rules exist to protect players and prevent abuse.

Not allowed:
* Impersonating staff.
* Sharing staff accounts.

You are responsible for activity originating from your account and associated IP address.

Potential outcomes: Warning (minor / non-malicious impersonation); 3-30 day ban; immediate removal of staff rights (staff account sharing); account deletion (account trading, severe impersonation, repeated abuse).

6. Communication & Conduct
Applies to all in-game channels (including private messages), broadcasts, and official Raptor Discord channels.

Potential outcomes: Squelch (in-game) or mute (Discord); notation for minor offences; 1-day banishment for discrimination offences without warning; 3-day banishment for repeated discrimination or harassment; up to 30-day banishment depending on severity and repetition; 30-day IP banishment for doxxing; 90-day IP banishment for threats of harm; account deletion for repeat severe abuse, threats, discrimination, or doxxing.

7. Staff Harassment & Abetting
Harassing or threatening staff members is strictly forbidden and may result in immediate escalation, ban extensions, or stronger sanctions. Public accusations against staff may result in squelching, jailing, or a ban if persistent. Players should feel confident reporting staff concerns, but these reports must be made through the support tickets available on Discord. Abetting, encouraging, assisting, or enabling another player to break rules may result in equal punishment to the primary offender.

8. Repeat Offender Risk Index (RORI)
Raptor uses a behavioural review system called the Repeat Offender Risk Index (RORI), which considers:

* Number of past offences
* How recent offences were
* Severity of offences
* Linked accounts / ban evasion indicators
* Behaviour during appeals (e.g. abuse, harassment)

High RORI scores lead to faster escalation and longer sanctions. Repeated violations increase the likelihood of permanent outcomes.

* Auto-targeting, target locking, or auto-casting.
* Automated movement / scripted pathing.
* AFK farming using automation.

Allowed:
* Buying or selling items, characters, or accounts for real-world currency. Beware of scammers at your own risk.
* If you lost an account, we may be able to restore it for a fee.

Potential outcomes: 7-14 day IP ban; asset removal; account deletion; escalation for organised activity.

5. Account Integrity
Account integrity rules exist to protect players and prevent abuse.

* Impersonating staff.
* Sharing staff accounts.

You are responsible for activity originating from your account and associated IP address.

6. Communication & Conduct
Applies to all in-game channels (including private messages), broadcasts, and official Raptor Discord channels.

Not allowed:
* Discrimination, hate speech, or derogatory remarks relating to race, colour, nationality, ethnic background, sexual orientation, gender, body type, or body parts.

All complaints, staff reports, and appeals should be submitted through the official Discord support ticket system where available.

Abetting, encouraging, assisting, or enabling another player to break rules may result in equal punishment to the primary offender.

8. Repeat Offender Risk Index (RORI)
Raptor uses a behavioural review system called the Repeat Offender Risk Index (RORI), which considers:

Santa Claus is a seasonal NPC who appears during festive events. Well-behaved players level 300 and above can claim a present — a gift bag holding a random reward (from common consumables up to ultra-rare gear), a handful of gold nuggets and other goodies, plus a large one-time experience bonus scaled to their level.

Role
Seasonal gift NPC. Requires level 300. One present per player roughly per year (360-day cooldown).

How it works
Say present, then when asked if you behaved this year say yes. Santa rolls a random gift from his sack — rarity ranges from a guaranteed common item up to a 0.01% legendary — and grants a level-based experience reward. You can claim again after 360 days.

Reward notes
* Gifts arrive in a present bag that also contains gold nuggets and bonus items.
* Experience granted scales with your level (from ~1.8 billion around level 300 up to tens of billions at very high levels).
* Rarer messages ("legendary", "ultra rare", etc.) correspond to rarer items.

Interactions
Greet Santa, say present, then yes. Players under level 300 are turned away, as is anyone who already claimed within the cooldown.
Role
Flavor / anti-cursing NPC.

Behavior
* Responds to cursing with a life-drain hit (roughly 100–200 damage).
* Otherwise idles as a town NPC with no trade or quest function.

Interactions
No shop or dialogue tree — just don't curse around her.
Merchant Glut is a general merchant who both buys and sells a small mix of goods — armor, helmets, food, runes, tapestries, vials, and backpacks. He uses the shared merchant trade lists, so his stock is a compact sampler rather than a specialist shop.

Role
General buy/sell merchant. Say wares to open the shop window.
Note
Merchant Glut is built on the shared demo merchant list, so some prices are placeholder/example values (e.g. a crown bought for 1,000 but sold for 100,000). Adjust the list in 'lib/merchant.xml' if you want balanced pricing.
As a Sorcerer, say spell, browse by category or level, then say a spell name and yes to learn it (you must meet the level and have the gold). He only sells to Sorcerers.
