Follow the Infected Rats down. Beneath the sands of Sandurna, where the pharaohs' tombs sink deepest and the air turns thick and wet, the corruption pools into something almost alive — the Infected Slimes. They are what the infection becomes when it has nowhere left to spread: a churning mass of blight and grave-water that oozes through the buried halls, dissolving stone, bone, and anything foolish enough to stand in its path.
	~~They~~ are a plague on the ~~desert's edge~~, and a ~~sign~~ that ~~whatever the Sins left buried beneath Sandurna has not stopped spreading~~. ~~Only well-armored, well-supplied adventurers should hunt them;~~ the ~~reward is real, but so is~~ the ~~poison~~, and the ~~sands have swallowed~~ many ~~who underestimated a "rat~~."		Where the Rats above are a plague, the Slimes are the source made flesh — heavier, deadlier, and soaked in a poison that shrugs off armor. They guard the deepest chambers of the tombs, and the treasures found on their remains hint at just how many adventurers came this far before them and did not climb back out.

They are a plague on the desert's edge, and a sign that whatever the Sins left buried beneath Sandurna has not stopped spreading. Only well-armored, well-supplied adventurers should hunt them; the reward is real, but so is the poison, and the sands have swallowed many who underestimated a "rat."
