Guilds
Guilds let players band together under a shared name and crest, coordinate in-game, and compete on the server. On Adventures of Raptor, all guild management is done through the website — not through in-game commands. Below is everything you need to create, join, and run a guild.
Creating a Guild
Guilds are created and managed entirely on the website.
- Log in to your account at adventuresofraptor.com.
- Go to the Guilds page from the site menu.
- Click Create Guild.
- Choose the character that will be the guild's Leader (this character must be online-eligible and not already in a guild).
- Enter a guild name and confirm.
Once created, your leader character is automatically assigned the Leader rank, and the three default ranks are set up for you.
Requirements to create a guild:
- You must own the character you assign as Leader.
- The character cannot already belong to another guild.
- A small level requirement may apply depending on current server settings.
Guild Ranks
Every guild starts with three default ranks:
| Rank | Level | Permissions |
|---|---|---|
| Leader | 3 | Full control — invite, kick, change ranks, manage guild, edit crest, disband |
| Vice-Leader | 2 | Invite and kick members, limited management |
| Member | 1 | Standard membership, no management rights |
The Leader can promote or demote members between ranks from the Manage Guild panel on the website.
Managing Your Guild
From the Guilds page (while logged in as Leader or Vice-Leader), you can:
- Invite players — send a guild invitation to another character.
- Kick members — remove a member from the guild.
- Change Rank — promote or demote members.
- Upload a Crest — set a custom guild logo/crest image.
- Disband — permanently delete the guild (Leader only).
The Manage Guild button appears on your guild page only when you are logged in as the Leader or Vice-Leader.
Joining a Guild
- The guild Leader or Vice-Leader sends you an invitation from the website.
- Log in to the website and open the Guilds page.
- Accept the pending invitation for your character.
Once accepted, your membership is recorded. You must log out and back in in-game for the game server to recognize your new guild membership.
Guild Crests
Guild Leaders can upload a custom crest image on the website:
- Recommended size: 128×128 pixels (displays at 64×64 on the site).
- Maximum file size: 500 KB.
- PNG format recommended for transparency.
In-Game Notes
- Guild management commands do not work in-game — use the website for all guild actions.
- After any membership or rank change on the website, relog your character so the game server updates.
- Your guild name and rank appear when other players use Look on you and in guild-related channels.
King of the Hill
Guilds can compete to control Hill and earn a +30% experience bonus for the whole guild for 2 hours. Travel there via the Traveler NPC ("King of Hills"), fight to the throne, and hold it for 20 minutes to capture it. See the full King of the Hill guide for details.
King of the Hill
King of the Hill is a guild-versus-guild control event held at Hill. A guild that captures and holds the throne earns a server-wide +30% experience bonus for their entire guild, lasting 2 hours.
Getting There
Travel to the hill by talking to the Traveler NPC and choosing the King of Hills destination.
- Speak to the Traveler and say
travel. - Say
King of Hills. - Say
yesto confirm. The trip costs 5,000 gold.
Entry Requirements
- You must be level 4,000 or under to enter the hill. It is a contested zone for lower and mid-level characters.
- Special items cannot be worn — certain equipment is blocked at the entrance. Remove flagged gear before entering or you'll be denied.
- You must be in a guild to capture the hill. Guildless players can fight there but cannot claim the throne.
Upon entering, players are scattered to one of several random spawn points around the hill, so no one starts with a guaranteed advantage.
How to Capture the Hill
- Fight your way to the throne at the top of the hill.
- Stand on the throne tile. Your guild is now registered as the one holding it, and a counter begins.
- Hold the throne for 20 minutes of accumulated time. The count only builds while a member of the same guild is standing on it.
- If you step off the throne, or a rival guild member takes it, the count resets. Only one guild can hold it at a time.
- Once your guild reaches the required hold time, the hill is captured — a server-wide broadcast announces your guild as the new King of the Hill.
The Reward
- The capturing guild receives +30% experience for 2 hours, applied to every member of the guild, anywhere they hunt.
- When the bonus expires, a broadcast announces that the hill is open again.
Cooldown
- After a capture, the hill enters a 2-hour cooldown (matching the bonus duration). During this time it cannot be recaptured.
- Once the cooldown ends, the hill reopens and any guild can contest it again.
Checking Hill Status
Use the !checkhill command anywhere to open a status window showing:
- Whether the hill is currently Open or Closed.
- The guild that last captured it.
- How many minutes remain until it reopens (if closed).
Strategy Tips
- Bring your guild — a single player can't hold the throne against a coordinated group.
- Watch the
!checkhilltimer so your guild is ready the moment the hill reopens. - Because the count resets when you're pushed off, controlling the area around the throne matters as much as standing on it.
