Rules
Rules
Raptor is a competitive and integrity-driven server. Access is a privilege, not a right. By creating an account and playing, you agree to follow these rules. Sanctions may be applied without prior warning and escalate based on severity, frequency, recency, account history, linked accounts, and behaviour during appeals. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, do not do it.
1. Automation & Unfair Advantage
You may use scripts, bots, automation, or third-party tools, but only within these limits.
Allowed:
- Cavebotting and automated hunting are permitted; however, only 1 character may be cavebotting or actively hunting at any given time. You may additionally have up to 2 characters fishing while your main character is hunting, or a maximum of 2 active characters outside Protection Zones (PZ) while 1 character is cavebotting.
- Auto-targeting, target locking, or auto-casting.
- Automated movement / scripted pathing.
- AFK farming using automation.
- Key jamming or holding keys down for automated gameplay.
- Allowing other players to control your character via scripts.
- Using AOE weapons while AFK outside designated fishing areas, only when you obey the rule of 1 character hunting and the other fishing.
Not allowed:
- Trapping players while not engaging in PvP so they cannot move.
- Using bots to interact with world items (e.g. digging/cutting) while AFK.
Staff checks: Failure to respond to a staff check within 60 seconds may result in sanctions. We will only check if you do not break any rules.
Potential outcomes: Jail or warning for minor breaches; 7-day ban; 30-day ban for serious automation / cavebotting; cavebotting may automatically include experience deduction from the first ban (starting at approximately -5% of player level, increasing for further offences); increased ban duration and level/experience loss for repeat offences; trapping players may result in jail, with persistent behaviour leading to a 1-day ban or stronger action; account deletion for persistent or severe abuse.
2. Multi-Client & IP Restrictions
To maintain fairness, character limits apply outside Protection Zones (PZ).
Allowed:
- Up to 2 active characters outside PZ and 1 designated fishing character per person.
- Additional characters must remain in PZ and may not provide advantage to any character, including your own or other players.
Not allowed:
- Using extra characters to heal, block entry, hold positions, scout, or otherwise support characters outside PZ.
- Using VPN/VPS/Cloud services to gain advantage or evade enforcement unless approved.
- Ban evasion via alternate accounts.
Shared IP fishing: Allowed only under approved conditions. Staff may temporarily temple characters pending checks.
Potential outcomes: Jail (first offence); 7-day ban (repeat); IP ban (serious abuse); escalation for coordinated farming networks.
3. Hacking, Exploits & Theft
You may not hack, steal accounts, scam players, abuse exploits, duplicate items, or manipulate the economy.
Potential outcomes: 3-day ban (minor exploit abuse); 30-day ban (scamming, if items are returned); account deletion (hacking, duping, severe or repeated abuse).
4. Real-World Trading & Advertising
Real-world trading (RWT) and advertising are restricted.
Not allowed:
- Attempting to arrange real-money trades (attempts may be punished as completed trades).
- Advertising or recruiting for other servers.
Allowed:
- Buying or selling items, characters, or accounts for real-world currency. Beware of scammers at your own risk.
- If you lost an account, we may be able to restore it for a fee.
Potential outcomes: 7-14 day IP ban; asset removal; account deletion; escalation for organised activity.
5. Account Integrity
Account integrity rules exist to protect players and prevent abuse.
Not allowed:
- Impersonating staff.
- Sharing staff accounts.
You are responsible for activity originating from your account and associated IP address.
Potential outcomes: Warning (minor / non-malicious impersonation); 3-30 day ban; immediate removal of staff rights (staff account sharing); account deletion (account trading, severe impersonation, repeated abuse).
6. Communication & Conduct
Applies to all in-game channels (including private messages), broadcasts, and official Raptor Discord channels.
Not allowed:
- Discrimination, hate speech, or derogatory remarks relating to race, colour, nationality, ethnic background, sexual orientation, gender, body type, or body parts.
- Harassing players or staff excessively over non game-related matters.
- Racial slurs, discriminatory insinuations, derogatory comparisons, or targeted abusive language.
- Posting NSFW content or links to NSFW content.
- Posting illegal content.
- Sharing real-life personal information (doxxing).
- Making threats of harm or intimidation.
- Publicly complaining about staff or server issues instead of using official support systems.
All complaints, staff reports, and appeals should be submitted through the official Discord support ticket system where available.
Potential outcomes: Squelch (in-game) or mute (Discord); notation for minor offences; 1-day banishment for discrimination offences without warning; 3-day banishment for repeated discrimination or harassment; up to 30-day banishment depending on severity and repetition; 30-day IP banishment for doxxing; 90-day IP banishment for threats of harm; account deletion for repeat severe abuse, threats, discrimination, or doxxing.
7. Staff Harassment & Abetting
Harassing or threatening staff members is strictly forbidden and may result in immediate escalation, ban extensions, or stronger sanctions. Public accusations against staff may result in squelching, jailing, or a ban if persistent. Players should feel confident reporting staff concerns, but these reports must be made through the support tickets available on Discord. Abetting, encouraging, assisting, or enabling another player to break rules may result in equal punishment to the primary offender.
8. Repeat Offender Risk Index (RORI)
Raptor uses a behavioural review system called the Repeat Offender Risk Index (RORI), which considers:
- Number of past offences
- How recent offences were
- Severity of offences
- Linked accounts / ban evasion indicators
- Behaviour during appeals (e.g. abuse, harassment)
High RORI scores lead to faster escalation and longer sanctions. Repeated violations increase the likelihood of permanent outcomes.
9. Enforcement Authority
Sanctions may be issued without warning. Banishment duration may increase for repeat offences, pattern behaviour, linked account abuse, or misconduct during appeals. God retains final authority over all enforcement decisions.
